The Parish House is a three story Victorian home in Freeport, NY purchased in 1989 to provide temporary housing for single moms in transition. Our goal is to provide these moms with a stable home environment, as well as spiritual guidance and emotional support, as they seek higher education or career training to become self-supporting.
In addition to providing housing for single moms, we have also established the Parish House Fund, which offers direct financial assistance to other single moms in the community. Donations go directly to help those who are in financial crisis and need temporary help with rent, utilities, education costs, medical expenses, or car repairs.
