VLT is a 2-year course of study designed to equip leaders in the areas of biblical studies, pastoral care and leadership skills.
Who is it for?
VLT is designed especially for those who are (1) already small group leaders; (2) training to be small group leaders or (3) currently serving in the church and seriously considering leadership in the future.
What are the requirements?
- Attendance at weekly classes
- Completion of homework assignments
- Brief examinations
- Participation in outreach projects where applicable
- Students must be currently serving in some ministry of the church
How is the course designed?
VLT is a 2-year program. Each year is divided into Fall, Winter and Spring quarters (Summer off). Each quarter consists of two 5-week modules. Classes meet on Wednesday evenings, 7:30-9:30 pm in the Rockville Centre Campus Ministry Room. We strongly recommend leaders to take the full course.
